“ELAF” Association was founded in 2014 and comprises 14 community-based organizations operating within Hama Governorate, Syria. Its primary aim is to enhance collaborative endeavors among these associations, fostering stronger coordination among them, and providing support for humanitarian initiatives aimed at alleviating the suffering of vulnerable communities impacted by the crisis resulting from the ongoing war. The formation of the union was initiated by a dedicated group of volunteers with a commitment to aiding their fellow citizens who have been adversely affected by the crisis. These volunteers have been instrumental in launching various charitable initiatives in response to the Syrian crisis, consistently dedicating their unwavering efforts to fulfilling critical humanitarian needs.
