Urgent winter Humanitarian Assistance for IDPS in North-West Syria
The need is huge in northern Syria, where the humanitarian situation is deteriorating in terms of unemployment and the high cost of living.
The emergency response project implemented by ELAF RD in the first Quarter of 2021, 47,475 beneficiaries were targeted, the most needy and most vulnerable beneficiaries were selected in the northern Syrian camps, and food baskets were provided.
Eid al-Adha 2021
At the end of "blessed Eid Al-Adha", we worked persistently during the Eid Al-Adha days to reach the sacrifices to those who deserve it.
As part of the #Eid_Qurbani campaign, more than 4800 beneficiaries were reached in Afrin and Idleb regions, as well as number of marginalized camps that considered the poorest and most needy.
ELAF 5 CAMPAIGN
One of the campaigns that ELAF works on every year is the Ramadan campaign, in which ELAF distributes the basic materials needed by the beneficiary, after assessing the needs.
In the ELAF 6 campaign in Ramadan 2021, ELAF targeted 29,709 beneficiaries in the city of Idlib and its countryside.
ELAF 5 CAMPAIGN
The harsh living conditions of the displaced in the camps in northern Syria and the unemployment that leads to low-income families push us as ELAF to carry out campaigns that help secure the basic needs of the displaced. With the possible capabilities, ELAF provides food baskets, sums of money, some basic necessities and meals to vulnerable and poor groups within organized campaigns. Including the ELAF 5 campaign in the month of Ramadan for the year 2020
WOMEN’S EMPOWERMENT, AGRICULTURAL RESILIENCE IN EMERGENCY
Women are an active element in all societies. They are an integral part of the structure and structure of society. They have gone beyond this to be the most important part and the most influential element in societies. Veterinary services and medicines, through the distribution of veterinary groups and through a veterinary visit by the Mobile Agriculture Clinic (MAC) team to home beneficiaries to assess and treat their animals as needed, to help them achieve better health and thus better milk productivity.
Dairy equipment was provided through the distribution of kitchen sets, to increase their capacity to prepare and sell dairy products to the market.
Provided training for female heads of household, including milk production and livestock. This activity was carried out by agricultural engineers and specialized veterinarians. Each course covered different topics from dairy processing and livestock farming methods, and through the distribution of a technical manual for livestock and dairy production.

AGRICULTURE EXTENSION SERVICES SUPPORT
In an effort to raise the standard of living and raise the value of local agricultural production in the light of the war and provide possible services to the residents of northern Syria, ILLAF provided quality services through the Agricultural Services Support Project, where it provided agricultural inputs to a number of farmers and established field training courses on farmers’ agricultural operations and on combating Pests, crops, trees, grafting and felling of trees (wheat, potatoes, pistachios, olives). The disaster risk reduction activity was conducted, with the ELAF RD Disaster Risk Reduction team responding to more than eight fires during harvest days.
FOOD BASKETS AND OTHER FOOD MATERIALS DISTRIBUTION
Living conditions under the ongoing war for the majority of the indigenous and displaced residents of northern Syria are very difficult, such as unemployment, which results in weak purchasing power. They are in constant need of basic food and non-food needs. As part of its potential, ILLAF is delivering food baskets to the needy and the poor in organized campaigns, in an effort to raise the standard of living
Under the current conditions in northern Syria, war sales, high unemployment, and poor purchasing power, meat has become a difficult item for many people.
