Specialized Program to Empower Female Engineers in Northwest Syria – Green Projects and Renewable Energy for Community Development (ESPERO).

Program Details:

  1. Program Objectives: The program aims to provide a platform for women to excel in the field of renewable energy, empowering them to become leaders in sustainable development by focusing on:

   – Empowerment: Offering hands-on training in renewable energy technologies.

   – Workforce Integration: Engaging participants in sustainable energy projects to build their careers.

   – Community Development: Promoting economic independence and enhancing leadership skills.

  • Program Main Activities: The program includes five main activities:
  • Solar panel installation and hands-on training.
  • Practical training for female engineers.
  • Activating the role of female engineers in educational sessions and awareness activities.
  • Community-led sustainability initiatives.
  • Mentorship in identifying and designing green projects and renewable energy initiatives for community development.
  • Target Audience:
  • University and technical institute graduates specializing in electrical, mechanical engineering, or any fields related to renewable energy.
  • Students in their final years of engineering or natural sciences who are eager to expand their knowledge in solar energy.
  • Women working in the fields of energy, environment, or any related industrial sector who wish to transition into renewable energy.
  • Women with a technical or engineering background who want to acquire advanced skills in solar energy.
  • Female entrepreneurs aspiring to start their own projects in the renewable energy sector.
