The project focuses on a range of activities to address the health and nutritional needs of the vulnerable population, particularly children and adolescents under the age of 16.
Project activities:
1-Pediatric medical services for children and adolescents under the age of 16,
2-Diagnosis development,
3-Provision of medicines, when possible,
4-Prescription of medications to be obtained from pharmacies outside the clinic.
5-Medical vehicle for patient transportation referral to another health facility if needed.
6- Addressing Moderate Acute Malnutrition (MAM) and Severe Acute Malnutrition (SAM) screening procedures and referral mechanisms to the nearest medical center for the treatment of child malnutrition.
7- Train community health workers to use simple tools for measuring nutritional status, such as mid-upper arm circumference (MUAC) tapes.
8- Community-Based Management of Acute Malnutrition (CMAM) and Infant and Young Child Feeding (IYCF)
