Partnership Officer

Main responsibilities

  • Assist in identifying, assessing, and developing potential partnerships with local national NGOs.
  • Support in maintaining strong working relationships with partners through regular communication and collaboration.
  • Aid in monitoring partner performance, providing technical support and guidance through the partnership team in Gaziantep as needed, and addressing any partnership-related issues or challenges.
  • Help the team in developing and regularly updating stakeholder analysis.
  • Contribute to the pre-award due diligence process for all sub-awards, including appropriate vetting, risk analysis associated with the award, and identifying and implementing proper measures to manage those risks in collaboration with other departments.
  • Record minutes of the Elaf RD’s internal Partnership Working Group meetings, follow up on action points with relevant team members.
  • Prepare monthly progress reports, share them with the partnership team, document the agreed action points, and follow up with the assigned team members.
  • Organize regular meetings to review Elaf RD and partner performance within the established framework; lead the formulation of joint action plans to address issues and follow up on the implementation of action plans with relevant partners and Elaf RD staff.

Required Experience/Qualifications/Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as international development, business administration, or social sciences.
  • At least 2 years of progressively successful experience working with local partners and/or grants management.
  • Strong understanding of stakeholder analysis and partner mapping techniques.
  • Experience in developing partnership proposals and conducting partner capacity assessments.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team and with partners from diverse cultural and professional backgrounds.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities under tight deadlines.

Languages:

  • Fluency in Arabic and English and Turkish is required.
